Cruise Holiday Day 3~

When we went back to our cabin room after our breakfast, we found a cute little SORRY biscuit placed on the table of my parents' room. This is because they previously complaint that their toilet's flush is not working properly. Thus, after the cruise's technician fixed it up, the cabin crew left the biscuit as an apology for the inconvenience caused. It was a great idea to convey their apologies right?

The cruise finally reached Phuket! Due to the fact that Phuket did not have any deep waters jetty and the cruise was unable to embark on the shallow beach waters, thus the cruise have to park in the middle of the sea, some distance away from the beaches, and wait for the speedboats to ferry passengers to and fro the cruise and the Phuket beach.

While awaiting for our turn to board the speedboat, we are enjoying the Phuket sea view and we are able to spot the island of Phuket in a distance!
The island is getting nearer!

And we finally step on to the lovely island of Phuket!

There are various resorts located just beside the beach.
This is the roads of Phuket.

Since the tsunami encounter a few years ago,
Phuket now had emergency evacuation route in plan.
We are at Patong Beach.
There are a whole lines of shops at Patong Beach,
which open at around afternoon and evening time.
We hired a taxi that drove us around Phuket and
brought us to various popular tourist attraction.
Our first stop is the Karon View Point.
It is a hilltop where we can enjoy the beautiful sceneries.

Our second stop is the Temple where tourist came to visit and pray.

Our next stop is the Wang Talang Gem Factory.
This is a miniature model of how the people of Phuket catch pearls from the sea of Phuket.

Next, we dropped by at the Phuket Shopping Market.
Its is somewhat similar to the Chatujak in Bangkok,
where you can find various shopping goods in one go.
The whole streets of shopping stalls.
After shopping, our last stop is to lunch at a popular Seafood Restaurant!
First, we had to choose the specific seafood we wanted from the variety of live seafood available.

We then make our way to the tables and make our additional orders.
The restaurant is located near the sea,
thus the customers can enjoy the beautiful scenery while dining.

Crabs, Prawns, Vegetables and Soup!
Our main dish of the meal is Lobster!
After filling up our stomach, we had to rush back to the beach to ride the speedboat back to our cruise! On the speedy way back in the taxi, we experienced a huge roller coaster ride as the hilly roads of Phuket are curvy, rocky and bumpy. I can feel the naseau feeling building up inside me. After another bumpy ride in the speedboat, i cannot take it anymore and i vomitted. >.<
After getting back, i took the naseau and dizziness pill,
we washed up and prepared for our Gala Show and Gala Dinner (formal).
The unwell feeling is written all across my face.
Waiting for the Gala Show - The Little Mermaid Live Musical Show to start showing.
As the show goes on, my dizziness wears off as the pill starts kicking in and i was able to walk straight again.

Waiting for our Gala Dinner to be served!
The glad look shows that i have fully recovered from the dizziness.
