Today was our Primary School Gals Mini Gathering! I had a fun day out with Iris, Mei Xin, Jia Ying, Rachel and Zimin! We finally got to meet up with each other after so long. Its a pity that Jasmine could not turn up at the last minute as she had an urgent matter to attend to. Its ok, we shall try to plan another bigger gathering the next time!
Anyway, back to the gathering. We sang our hearts out at a KBox 2-7pm session at Ehub. It was really interesting to catch up with each other and have fun singing at the same time. Its a pity Blogger is still having problems currently, so i cannot upload the photos!
Most of us, who are in the poly, are having our internship now. There are two out of the six of us who has boyfriend now. Most of us have known each other since Primary 5, for JiaYing and i, its in Primary 3. And, now some of us are in Poly, some in JC, some in University. Each of us are on their separate path towards their goal. I really hoped that we can meet up more often and catch up with one another!
Just met up with Miaomiao to search for Michx's birthday present! Its the last day of Miaomiao's exam, so i went to school to meet her and we went for lunch together! During lunch, we met Miaomiao's friend, whom we called "Da Shu".
In all this while of listening to Miaomiao's talks about Da Shu, i actually imagined him to be a very matured and serious man. But, after seeing him, i told miaomiao: "He doesn't fit with what i imagined him to be. He seems more younger and good-looking than what u have described him." After chatting with him, i found out that he has this special ability to motivate and encourage people through his words. Miaomiao, i finally understand what u meant by him being too good le.
After lunch, we head down to Tampines Mall to look for present! Of course, i couldn't say out what the present is here. Haha. After buying the present, we decided to sit down and enjoy some ice cream at Mac. We chatted a whole lot of things, ranging from our past to the present. Then, we went to shop around Tampines One. After that, i accompanied Miaomiao to have her dinner and we went home when we felt like it.
YAY! Im officially free from my part-time job right now!
I realised i have not mentioned anything bout my part-time job at all. Well, i have taken up tuitioning primary school kids as my part-time job during the evenings for the past few months. It has not been a smooth ride for me. My first two tries had ended right after the first lesson. At that time, i was really depressed after those two failures. Then finally, my third try is considered successful and that is the tuition i have been teaching for the past few months.
I have to apologise to my friends who have asked me out for the past few months, as i couldnt meet up with them due to my busy tuition schedule. I am quite surprised at myself as i have actually tried handling 4 students in one go every single day. When i received my hard earned pay, the feeling was really great.
Now that i have ended my tuition, i have more time to meet up with my friends and to concentrate on my studies as internship should be ending soon. It was a good experience for me. I have learnt to be more independent and to work hard to earn for my own money! If there's a chance in the future, i would like to continue this part-time job if i could handle both my studies and it at the same time or during my holidays too.
Recently, the lyrics of 蜗牛 by 周杰伦 kept popping inside my head. I still remembered clearly that i first heard this song from Jay's Fantasy Concert album during my secondary school days. I loved its lyrics as i find them very meaningful and encouraging.

Its all the part and parcel of ur life to stop in ur tracks and clear ur doubts before going on with it happily. I have also once gotten confused and questioned myself that do I regret to choose and study this current course. But once u has cleared all ur honest heartfelt doubts, u will feel better and proceed on.
And, just live the way u wanna be! Ur heart cant lie to u. The true miaomiao I have always known will always be the one I believed in. Jia Yous with ur life and studies! Don’t stress urself too much! If u need someone to talk to, just msg me! Don’t forget im always there for u! =))
