Last Day of 2008!

Today's the last day of 2008! Time flies so fast! I conclude that Poly life passes faster than Secondary life! Cause Poly life is sooo busy and filled with sooo many things to do! Hahs.

Anyway, its New Year Eve. And, school ends at halfday today. Actually, we still have H&T tutorial at 2-4pm. But, i guess the school facilites closes at halfday, so we are unable to conduct lessons after 1pm bahs.

Its so exaggerating! You won't believe it! After having lunch with SiFan in school, we were looking around for toilets. But, we realised that every single female toilets are locked! I guess all the cleaners have already packed their bags and went home to countdown! Not only the toilets, even the free access labs, engineering hall and also the library is closed!

Actually, we planned to do out H&T project at school. But, since all facilities are closed, we have no choice, but to go to WeiTing's house to do as its quite near the school. Thanks WeiTing, for the large mug of Iced Milo and Potato Chips! Even though the Iced Milo is abit tasteless, but thanks! Hahs.

After working on the project, I went off first at around 5pm to meet my family for dinner at Tampines Mall. Thanks girls, for letting me go of early! =))

Then, i went to buy my new jeans! At first, i wanted to buy black skinny jeans, but it doesn't fits very well. And, when i tried on another greenish-grey skinny jeans, i fall in love with it! I was debating which to buy in the end. Cause the black skinny jeans can be worn with formal top at times too. However, in the end, i bought the greenish-grey one! Maybe i shall buy the black one the next time. Hehe! So, i am a happy girl right now!

When i am typing this post, its exactly four more hours to 2009! Lets countdown in our hearts, since we are not counting down at a party or something! =)) We shall welcome the New Year 2009 with happy hearts, smiling faces and be positive, looking forward to a even better year! Yays! ^_^

Happy Day.

I just went with family to Bugis. We lunched at Bugis Junction's Seafood Harvest Restaurant! Its actually a subsidary of Jack's Place Restaurant. The food there is even more delicious than those at Jack's Place.

Then, Mum, Jie and me went to shop at OG, while Dad and Gor went to Sim Lim Square to get the laptop's ram memory upgraded to 2GB.

Christmas Day!

Woohoo! I met up with Darlings today! Its the first time we met up on Christmas right? Hahas.

Firstly, i met Michx at Ahping's house bustop to take Miaomiao's pressent and also to pass Ahping my holiday present! And, we saw Ahping's dd! They are quite sweet, when we are chatting together, they two still can beat and play with each other's hand. Lols.

Then, went off to Ehub with Michx. We lunched at a Chinese noodles stall. This is my fried mushroom pumpkin noodle, Michx's mushroom and chicken noodle and our shared Aloe Vera drink!

After lunch, we walked around, waiting for Miaomiao to come.

Then, Miaomiao came and we decided to watch movie! We watched Bedtime Stories! The story is very nice, heartwarming, funny and cute! We laughed till so happy! Hahahas.

Subsequently, we took out Ahping's jelly that her mum made for us! So sweet right! Its yummy! Thanks so much Ahping and Ahping's mum! =))

Malaysia Trip Day 4 at Kular Lumpur (18th Dec 2008)

At last, the last day of our holiday trip is here. We had buffet breakfast at the same hotel restaurant. Luckily, the buffet food is a little bit different from last morning's.

Then, we packed our bags and took last photos of the hotel. This is the view we get from our hotel room.

After that, since we still has a few hours of free time before checking out and boarding the coach back to Singapore, we decided to go back to the S&M Shopping Arcade Wisma Fui Chui Shopping Centre we went to last night as we didn't get to walk through every shops over there.

When we reached there, the Shopping Centre haven't open yet. So, we strolled through the streets of Chinatown to pass time. We walked pass a shop selling many things in bulk such as wallets, pencil cases, hair clips, so on. Thus, we went in and realised the items for sale are quite cheap there as compared to Singapore. In the end, we bought all our presents for friends over there! I will not be saying what presents i bought though, cause it will be a surprise for them! Hehes. xP

After some time, the Shopping Centre opened, so went in and shopped. In the end, i bought a bag, Jie bought shoes and socks. =))

Then, we went back to check out of the hotel and waited for our coach to arrive and send us back to Singapore. And, on the way back to Singapore, the coach played two movies, 证人 and 保持通话 Connected, which we already watched before! The most annoying one is 证人 because we just watched it at Genting! Sighs... wasted our money. Lols.

Malaysia Trip Day 3 at Kuala Lumpur (17th Dec 2008)

We had buffet breakfast at hotel's restuarant named Flavors. The buffet food is the most delicious breakfast i had in all the 3 mornings so far! =))

Then, we went to explore the E-lounge. We realised food are also prepared over there, but think its for the VIPs who came to the hotel for meetings or conferences.

There's a balcony in the e-lounge that has a great view.

After that, we went to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) or better known as the Twin Tower.

They have a much larger decorated christmas tree than the one at Bejaya Times Square!

Isetan is having a Year End Sale, so we bought all our shopping items over there. I bought two tops, Jie bought 3 tops, and i forgot Gor bought what le. Lols.

Anyway, we shopped till our legs are so tired! So we went to have dinner at the food court. Its actually a place where all the fast food restaurants are gathered. We had Yoshinoya meal and pizza.

Before leaving KLCC, we took the close-up photo view of it.

We asked an eurasian man to help us to take a family photo with the KLCC as background. The photo turned out to be like that cause the KLCC is too tall. Quite artistic right? Hahahas.

Then, we went back to our hotel and had another swim in the swimming pool. We went to have supper at Chinatown's roadside stall again. Acctually, we wanted to eat the Beef Noodle that we saw last night. But, when we went back, we realised the stall is gone! And, the 煮炒 stall we ate last night is gone too! So, we conclude that the stalls there changed evernight! So, this time round we had Pork Rib Tea Soup, Pig Organ Soup and Pig Trotter with Vinegar.

Followed up, we went to the Shopping Centre named Kota Roya at the opposite of Chinatown. We saw alot of jeans shop, and as i was looking for black skinny jeans, i went in and asked for it. But, we were told that the jeans brand Lee, which i always choose, at Malaysia do not sell female stocks. =(( So, i couldnt buy any jeans. We walked around and realised many shops there are alike and selling almost the same things. So, we went over to the Shopping Centre beside it, named S&M Shopping Arcade Wisma Fui Chiu. This is the photo of it.

We realised there are much more things to shop here as compared to Kota Roya! In the end, Dad and Mum bought wallets, Gor bought belts. Then, since many of the shops are closing, we got no choice but to go back to our hotel and sleep. And, that ends our third day of our Malaysia Trip!

Malaysia Trip Day 2 Part 2 at Kula Lumpur (16th Dec 2008)

We arrived at Kula Lumpur at 2pm. We were so excited when we saw the Twin Tower. Hahas.

We checked-in at the Swiss Garden Hotel. It is very beautiful and cosy!

When we walked out of our hotel, trying to cross the roads, we realised something! There are not much pedestrian crossings at the roads of Malaysia! We just have to look out for vehicles ourselves while crossing the road. Even if there is pedestrain crossing, most of the vehicles over there also did not abide to it! So, we were so scared of getting hit when crossing the roads of Malaysia. >.<

Firstly, we went to shop at the Computer City, which is something like Singapore's Sim Lim Square, where all the IT stuffs can be found.

After that, we went to the Bejaya Times Square. There is a huge decorated christmas tree at the lobby!

The Bejaya Times Square is a Shopping Centre with Indoor Theme Park and Hotel. The Shopping Centre itself already have 10 levels! And, it is so huge that it took a long time to walk and shop from one end to another! Its something like Singapore's Vivo City, but much more bigger than it.

We were hungry, so went to have our dinner at KFC. We realised a few differences between Malaysia's KFC and Singapore's KFC. They have cheese potato wedges there, but not here. They have small chicken pieces put together on a satay stick, here ours is just popocorn chicken in a box. Their colestraw is dry without much juice, but much more crisper, here ours is more juicer and soft. My gor and jie claimed that the chicken peices are much more tastier, but i felt the same. Hahas.

After that, we returned to our hotel and went swimming at the swimming facilities provided. Its so cooling and refreshing after a whole day of walking around. There is also sauna facilities provided! =D

Next, we went to the Chinatown at night. There are no photos of Chinatown, cause its too dark to capture anything at night. It is looks like Singapore's Bugis Street. We actually planned to buy all our shopping items over there, cause we thought that its night market with cheap items where bargain is allowed.

However, when we walked through it and asked for prices of items, we were shocked! The prices are extremely high! And, when we tried to bargain, we were given black faces. Furthermore, when we walked away, deciding not to buy, we were scolded with vulgarities! We were so taken back by all these. So, in the end, we did not buy any items over there. We just had supper at one of the road street 煮炒 store at Chinatown, comprising of fried noodles so on. Its is yummy!

And, that ends our second day of Malaysia Trip. So, we went back to our hotel and sleep!

Malaysia Trip Day 2 Part 1 at Genting Highlands (16th Dec 2008)

Firstly, we had buffet breakfast at Highlands Hotel's Coffee Terrace Restaurant. There's a balcony in that restaurant which overlooks Genting.

Malaysia Trip Day 1 at Genting Highlands (15th Dec 2008)

We set off on Five Stars Agency coach on 14th Dec 11pm and reached Genting Highlands on 15th Dec 7am. The weather is so cooling! I love it! We placed our baggages at the First World Hotel hold baggage area, since the offical check-in time is at 3pm.

Then, we went around trying to familiarise with the surrounding environment. We took photos with the decorations at First World Hotel.

We had buffet breakfast at First World Hotel's First World Cafe Restaurant.

Then, went to take a look outside First World Hotel.

I love hugging the fog! It seems like touching the clouds!

Did you all realise i am wearing two cardigans? So can you imagine how cold is it over there?

We decided to take the Cable Car Ride to see the views of Genting.

There is a Horse Farm nearby. So, we went down and take a look.

Its a white stallion!

We took the return ride back to Genting Highlands.

Finally, we checked-in to our hotel room! Dad and mum to one room. Gor, Jie and me in another!

Then, we bought the Indoor Theme Park tickets. Took the Boat Ride.

Took the Ferris Wheel. I dono why i covered my face. Hahas.

Then, went for buffet dinner at Highland Hotel's Coffee Terrace Restaurant. Delicious! =D

After dinner, continued to play in the indoor theme park. Played the Bumper Car.

After taking it, i felt that its nothing. Not much thrills in it. Hahas. I don't understand why for every ride, there will be many screams.

Then, Daddy and Mummy went to the Casino de Genting, while Gor, Jie and me went off to catch a midnight movie 证人. The movie is so exciting and thrilling! Somemore, the stereos speakers are so loud, every single sound beat in my eardrum, making me so filled with excitement.

After the movie, we retire to our beds for a four hours sleep till the morning.

I just came back from shopping at the Converse Warehouse Sale at Paya Lebar. Its so crowded and squeezy!

I saw alot of cloth-covered shoes that i am looking for nowadays there. I was hesistating whether to buy, cause i have already bought one ladies covered shoes recently and there is only one and a half semester left to let me wear it to school, plus during internship, i will be wearing heels. So, in the end, i did not buy.

Jie and i bought 2 bags. Dad bought a sandals. Gor, Mum and Dad bought a polo shirt each. =))

I am finally here to revive my blog! Because, i have completed all my term tests! Hahahas! Im sooooo happy! And, it also meant that holidays are here! =D I have to really enjoy this holidays cause my next three holidays will be taken up by the Student Internship Program (SIP).

Sighs, talking about the SIP, i have yet to discuss it with my dad and make a decision with the so far available choices. Speaking the truth, i have no special preference in doing anything! I don't like to face customers, meaning no customer service. I don't like to face strict managers, meaning no office job. Then, what's left for me? Haish... >.<

Back to the topic about this holidays, its such a busy holiday! This weekend will be buried with packing of bags for my family holiday trip to Malaysia. This sunday, 14th Dec, evening, we will be off to Genting Highlands and Kuala Lumpur! We will be back on next thur, 18th Dec, evening.

This meant that almost half of my holidays are gone! Then, i had to complete Busfund, Atsys2, H&T projects and Aisys2 assignment! Furthermore, i hoped to meet up with Darlings Miaomiao, Ah Ping and Michx! I also hoped to meet up with Primary school friends for a KBox session!

How to complete all these things in a only TWO week holidays? >.<

Today, i spent 3 hours with Miaomiao, lunching and chatting away. I cannot help but feel so angry and sad for her that she has such awful group members. This is the first time i saw agitated while talking about a particular thing. She claimed that talked about her problems until she have no voice left. Cheer up girl! I believe that you will have your way out of this! JIAYOUS! =))

And, i also talked alot, saying everything in my life is not decided by me. She said that i have lost my goal of life and that i am not living for myself at all. I seemed to live just for life. I realised i do not have any particular interest in anything. There's not much happiness and excitement. My life is just going through the similar daily motion every single day, month and year. What should i do about it? Sighs. =((
