Thailand Trip Day 4.

On Day 4, we are supposed to return to Bangkok.

The following photos are taken in the morning before breakfast at Gazebo Resort.

After breakfast, we set off to Dream World, which is Bangkok's famous theme park, in high spirits. The rest of the photos that are posted up are all taken at Dream World.

Its a lovely place, filled with joyful and exciting atmosphere. I love it!

Excitement filled and hair-rising Roller Coaster.
Relaxing self-drive Antique Car.
Self-pedal Bicycle Boat.

Sceneries taken from Cable Car.

Terrifying Haunted Mansion!
When we were exploring it, there are a lot of bloodcurdling screams heard. Lol.
Next, we went into the Fairytale Land.
Guess why my hair and clothes seemed to be all wet? Cause thats the result of trying the Super Splash! Its something like Singapore's Escape Theme Park's Wet n Wild. So, we all came out being wet from head to toe after playing it.

Cinderella Carraige!
Pirates Ship.
Sleeping Beauty's Castle.
Shoe House.
It is said that whoever who can pull out the sword in the rocks will be the King! Haha.

There's even Titanic Ship with Rose on board!
Stone People.
Following up is the Wonders of the World!

Colosseum in Rome.
Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Standing Stones in Stonehenge.

Statue of Liberty in New York.
Angkor Wat Temple in Cambodia.
Great Pyramid of Egypt.
Great Wall of China.
Wat Arun Temple in Thailand.
Jama Masjid Mosque in India.
Then, we entered the Crazy Zone.
We had a fun and hilarious time while taking photos at this particular area.
Oh no, i'm in jail!
Ahh, am i gonna be executed?
Yay, i'm the Queen in the poker cards!

Wow, can you believe it? The muscle guy is defeated by me!

Oopps, we definitely shouldn't be seeing this!
Oh great, im playing a Chello right now!
Now, its the Musical Harp!
After that, we went into the Love Garden!

Hearts~
Family photo! But its abit too small! Haha.
Im so happy~
Im trying to hug the heart bushes, but it seems that im trying to fly right.
Lovely swing!
Lastly, ending with a photo of my gor trying to do a comical imitation of the cute Restroom statue guy. Its very funny!
After a fun and tiring day spent at the Dream World, we then had dinner at P2 Boutique Hotel. We returned to check-in to the CentrePoint Hotel at Bangkok.

Thailand Trip Day 3.

At last, i am finally able to get all the photos for Day 3 to be uploaded completely! Sorry for the long wait!

The following are photos of the Gazebo Resort which is the place that we are staying at Pattaya.

Candid shot.
We were heading off to the Pattay beach! Thats why we are wearing tshirts! Im wearing my old secondary PE tshirt! It was as comfy as ever! =D

We reached the Pattay Beach! It was sunny and windy when we reached there.

These are the speed boats which we will be travelling on to head to Coral Island.

Family picture! I love this picture a lot!
How i wish that all our smiles will always be etched on our faces no matter what happens in the future.

Finally, we got on the speed boat! We were siting at the front of the boat! It was super rocky! And, as expected, i felt giddy after the boat ride. Haha.

Mum and Dad!

Take a look at the rocky waves!
Our first stop is at this floating platform where you get to play the sea activities.

The sea activity is Parachuting where you are attached to the speedboat and the speedboat will pull you around the sea. It seems so exciting and exhilarating.

Then, we make our way back to the speedboat to move on to the beatiful island - Coral Island! We were amazed by the colour of the sea when we reached there. It was so blueish and clean! It was exactly the same as those pretty beach that are featured on shows. I love it to the extreme! The sand is also very clean and comfortable to stand or run on.

The wind is blowing very strongly!

We then put down our things and head straight into the waters! The water is so clear that you can even see your body and legs underneath it! And, we had a definitely fun time swimming and playing in the waters!
After soaking in the water for around 2 hours, we have to head back to our hotel for lunch and a change of clothes before continuing our tour!
Our next destination is the Bee Farm! They let us take photos with the bees, but in our family, only dad and mum dared to take photos with it. Lol.

Drinking honey!
Then, we went to the next place, Nong Nooch Garden.

The following are photos taken at the Garden!

Do i look slightly sunburnt after swimming under the sun for hours?

Following up, we went to watch the live culture show at the Thai Cultural Show House.

While waiting for the show to start, i realised that a group of Koreans are sitting behind us. I had a fun time listening to their conversation between themselves as i tried to pick out korean phrases or words that i have learnt from the various Korean drama and variety shows that i have watched before. Hehe.
The following are the photos of the Thai culture show.

Thai boxing is shown too!

Elephants appeared too!

Then, we watched the Elephant Show!

All the elephants are well-trained and cute!

They displayed an interestingly number of skills. One of them are playing with darts!

Riding tricycle!
And, even Painting too!

We were astonished by this ability of theirs!
They offered to let the elephants carry an audience with its trunks from one end to the other.
Playing soccer!

Playing basketball!
And, the ball went in!

Playing with hula-hoops!

They invited some audience to be involved in the show too.

Look carefully at the position which the elephant is stepping on!
After that, we left the Nong Nooch Garden to have our dinner at some restaurant.
Then, we left the tour group and went to enjoy Tradditional Full Body Thai Massage! It was my first time doing it. When my massager massaged my back, i can hear my bones cracking and she kept asking me whether it is too pain. Haha. It was definitely a good way to end the day by relaxing our muscles after walking around for so long!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARLING MIAOMIAO!

Just wanna dedicate a song lyrics to you! I wanna tell you that you are my 最佳听众!

These are all my heartfelt feelings. Thank you for being there whenever i need you. Thank you for the advice you have given me. Thank you for encouraging me to continue to search for my dream. Lastly, Thank you for all the wonderful happy memories you have created for us.

Unhappy.

I am geeting so irritated by my blogger account. I guess something's wrong with it as whatever picture i uploaded, it does not appear in the compose post page. If this goes on, i am unable to complete my series of posts on my Thailand holiday trip or even continue to post any more pictures in the future! What to do? Anyone has encountered this problem before and knows how to solve it? Please help me!!

Anyway, why does everything seem to be going so not smoothly for me recently?!? Sigh. My hand got scalded by boiled water and my finger got a bleeding cut in just the same day! And, i almost fainted just after i got the cut on my finger. I also don't know what happened actually. I just felt dizzy and had difficulty in breathing all of a sudden, thus i almost slip into unconscious status. Everything is not going well for me these days! Haish...

Thailand Trip Day 2 Part 2.

The next destination is Sriracha Tiger Zoo! We took photos with a tiger.

And, we watched all the tigers moving about in their enclosed space.

Slowly, our attention are being drawn to a pair of tigers in the water.

It was because they suddenly started fighting! At first, we were quite shocked, but then we were laughing away cause it was quite funny to look at them fighting.

Then, we went to watch the Tiger Show.

We were stunned to be able to see this magnificent scene!

Dangerous fire ring.

Following up is the Pig Show.

Then, the Pig Race.

And, there's the Crocodile Show.

Kissing it to make it listen to him?
Then, putting his head between its mouth!

This is a tiger mothering baby pigs!
Take a closer look at the pigs and you can see them being wrapped with tiger skin.
Loads of crocodiles lying around their area.
In this enclosed area, the sign board titles "Happy Family". We were curious as to why it was label as this, thus we took a closer look at the animals living inside. And, we were shocked! Tigers, Dogs and Pigs are living together in an area! Can you believe it?
After visiting the Sriracha Tiger Zoo, we went to have our dinner and then we watched the Alangkarn Show. It is a live cultural show and it depicts the history and culture of Thailand. This show has the a lot of nice effects. The actors and elephants even went through the crowd of audience and resulted in a closer exposure. Photography is not allowed in the show, thus we only managed to sneak a photo of it.

After that, we were being bought to the Pattaya Floating Market. All the stores are being supported by wooden structures, just like kampong houses, floating on the water.

Then, we went to check-in to our hotel at Pattaya. Our hotel is named Gazebo Resort. It was more like a chalet resort rather than a hotel. After resting for a while, we happily proceeded to our next destination to watch the Ah Gua Show! However, my lady slippers broke after i alighted from the chartered bus. I was in a lost as i desperately need slippers for the next day's Pattaya beach activities. Thus, dad and jie went to the find and buy a pair of beach slippers from the nearby stores. After all the huff and puff, we finally get to go in and watch the Ah Gua show, feeling relieved.
Actually, i heard from Ning En before that all the Ah Gua are very beautiful, but at that time i didn't really believe her. When i saw them in the show with my own eyes, i couldn't help but believe what she said now. They seemed to look like models!

Introductory theme.

Malay concept.
Vietnam concept.
Chinese concept.

Korean concept.
Lady?
Or Guy?
Acting two roles at the same time is really very difficult.

Museum statues concept.
And, they came alive at night.
Ending theme.

That brings an end to our second day in Thailand! It was definitely a fruitful day for us as we have seen, watched and experienced a lot of amazing things!

Thailand Trip Day 2 Part1.

After having our breakfast at our hotel's restauarant, we gathered with the rest of our tour group members (who came from either Singapore or Malaysia) and hop on the tour coach. Our first destination is the Chao Phaya Canal! Its somewhat like Singapore River. We get to board on a motor boat and off we go exploring the river.

We get to feed the fishes in the river by buying bread from them. The fishes look a bit like catfish, but they do not have the whiskers that catfish have. So im not sure what type of fishes they are.

The following are beautiful views taken from the motor boat. I love the sky in this photo!

Boat houses?

A ship-look-alike building.

On our way through the river, we spotted a something-like-cruise ship passing by.

There is the floating market, where the sellers approaches the boats with goods on their sampan boats.

There are a lot of kampong houses along the river.

Pictures taken on board the boat!

Getting dizzy again?
Dont't think so. If no, why am i smiling so brightly? Haha.
We stopped at one of the jetties to take a look at the magnificent Wat Arun Temple!

The sun was beating down at us! In any minute, we are getting more and more sun burnt.

There are also shops selling suveniors.
The sun was certainly unbearable! Thats why i kept pulling up my hair.
Next, we hop on the coach again to head to our next destination. The following are random photos of Bangkok streets taken from our coach. You will be shocked and wondering that how can a city be so run-down?

The following are views of the expressway. Its all trees, bushes and hills.

This is the 4-Face Buddha.

They will normally buy strands of flowers to go and pray to the 4-Face Buddha.

Take a closer look at the Mr MacDonalds' hands! The hands are placed together as a greeting in Thailand! We definitely can't find that in Singapore.

Then, we proceeded to have our dinner at a uniquely-designed Seafood Restaurant. It upholds the concept of dining in a chinese tradditional palace environment. It looks exactly like those palace in the chinese traddional shows.

Beautiful views right!

The rest of the tour will be continued in Part 2 as there are too much photos for Day 2. =))

Thailand Trip Day 1. Bangkok.

Our flight is departing at Changi Airport Terminal 2. Before that, i went to bring my family for breakfast at Terminal 1's staff canteen and then a walk around Terminal 3's Butterfly Garden.

My Jie said i look like a barbie doll standing there. Do i? Haha.

Finally, the time that we had been anticipating for has arrived! Its my Jie's and my first ever time to board and fly on a plane.

We were so thrilled and eager for the plane to take off! After all those times of learning about aircraft standard processes, i finally got to experience it. I kept explaining those processes to Jie and Gor whenever the aircraft moves or stops, such as the aircraft is awaiting for clearance to take off so on. I think they find me very irritating, cause i kept chatting away!

Finally, the plane took off! The view from the window seat was gorgeous!

We could even see the entire outline of Singapore!

For inflight entertainment, i chose to watch a bit of Ink Heart and Bride Wars.

Our flight meal was scrumptious! Grilled fish and baked potatoes. There were all sorts of drinks available, inlcuding Red Wine, White Wine, Orange Juice, Milk, Tea, Coffee and so on. The dessert served was Vanilla ice cream!

We were happily eating away.

This is my first time viewing the clouds at such close distance. It was awesome.
However, despite me being thrilled about my first flight experience, i was feeling a bit giddy and nauseous at the end of the flight. >.<
In about two hours time, we finally catch a glimpse of Thailand!

And, this is Suvarnabhumi Airport!

After meeting up with our tour guide, we were being bought to check-in to our hotel in Bangkok. The name of our hotel is CentrePoint Service Apartment. It felt like a home to me as there is even a kitchen provided.

This is the Cheese Cake Singapore Airlines offered Gor for his birthday. It became our supper that day. It was certainly yummy! We had a great time clearing off it.

After some packing out some of our stuffs, we set off to explore Bangkok on our own as the first day of our trip is scheduled as free and easy.

The first place we went to explore is Chinatown! After so many hearings about Thailand's infamous traffic jam, we finally experienced it. We suspected that the major cause is that its red light is super long. But, i love its colourful taxis on the road!

When we arrived at Chinatown, the sun was glaring down at us.

After walking round the streets for hours, we felt hungry, so we went into a Chinese Restaurant and had our dinner there. While waiting for our food to be served, we took photos.

Shark Fin Soup.
Fried Oyster Omelette "O-Ah-Jian".
Seafood Soup.
Steamed Cod Fish "Xue Yu".
Stir-fried Vermicelli Crab.

We tried to take a family photo using the mirror reflection.

When we decided to head back to our hotel, Chinatown is raining heavily with a heavy traffic jam. We spent almost forty-five minutes trying to flag a cab. It was a scary experience to be out in the cold rain at a unfamilar city that is far away from our hotel, when most of the taxi drivers have never heard of our hotel. At that moment, i was thinking it will really be a miracle to be able to return to our hotel that night. Finally, after around forty-five minutes we managed to explain where our hotel is situated to a taxi driver and hop onto it.

It really felt good to be able to return to our hotel safely and have a hot bath to remove our exhaustion. And that pretty sums up our first day in Bangkok. Day 2 will be more interesting!

However, as day passes, im getting more and more used to it as i find it more easier to maintain and take care. Here are some photos of it.

Honest Thoughts.

Reply message to MiaoRu:

Firstly, i wanna say my feelings when i was reading through your blog post. I cried when i read through it. The tears just flowed down unexpectedly. Thank you for being so honest and open about your true feelings. I am so very thankful to you for bringing this up. Maybe, i also realised that we are drifting apart recently. In fact, i realised it after we both went to poly. I think it is due to the reason that we couldn't meet up and see each other every single day, just like the old times in secondary school where we can meet up every day once school ends and have lunch together and talk our hearts out.

Despite the fact that we are still in the same school for poly, both our school lesson timings are contradicting, thus making us unable to meet up as frequently as we wished to. Plus the fact that i can't stayed up late outside, and on weekends too, due to my parents' demanding strictness and so-called family policy that weekends are family days. I admitted that i also hate the fact that i could not chat with you on the phone as frequent and as long as i wanted to.

But, unfortunately, thats my life. I understand that you once tried to change it by telling me to stop letting my parents control my life. I also admitted that i did not once thought of changing my life as honestly speaking, i am comfortable with it as i have grown up in this "controlled" life of mine ever since i was born, thus i am used to it. Therefore, i have to apologise to you that for now, i think my life will continue as it has been, until the day when i became really indepedent and leave my family, maybe to set up my own. I know that you really mind it alot but for the time being, i have no brillant solutions for it.

My tiny solution is to continue to ask you out on our term and semester breaks to catch up with our the recent happenings. And, i even once requested to resume our letter writing hobby since the times we stopped to write letters to each other. However, i realised that we still couldn't get back to the days where we can chat about everything or anything that happened in our lives, either about school, family or friends. I feel that we are still holding back something.

What is the thing that we are holding back? I think that i have finally found out the answer to it. The answer is that we are actually unwilling to face the fact that we are difting apart. Now that i see it, i really wanted to solve it no matter what it takes. I am more than willing to do anything so that we can return to the past. So be prepared, im going to ask you out whenever im free! Till then, don't you dare complain that you are sick of seeing me! Hahaha.

Phew, it really feels good to have expressed our honest feelings to each other. I really hoped that you will understand and forgive everything i have ever done to annoy you. You asked if i can forgive you, i can now say that i am ready to forgive you. In return, will you forgive me and promise to try our very best to return to the past when we can talk our hearts out?

Recent Obession.

Recently, i have not been updating my blog. Cause im currently going head over heels over three korean boy bands. And thus, i have been you-tubing any videos related to them. I have watched almost all the variety shows they went on to. I shall introduce them now!

Credits: FT. Island Picture taken from: http://primanoona.wordpress.com/

The first band is F.T Island. The band name stands for Five Treasure Island. I first started watching the variety show Becoming a Good Daddy, when i get to know about their vocalist, Lee Hong Ki. He is my favourite member from the band! In my opinion, they are the first musical band whom are all flower boys. It means that all the band members are good looking!

Furthermore, their music are very influential and unique. I can just listen to their songs for a few times and after that i am able to vaguely hum the chorus aloud as the music kept drowning my mind. Their vocal is very powerful for a vocalist at only a age of 19. I am currently hooked on to their third album Jump Up's second hit, Missing You. I have uploaded my four favorite songs that are sang by them in imeem and they are in my blog playlist right now.
And, what's more, they are coming to Singapore this month, at June 27th, to hold a debut concert showcase! I wanna go and listen and drown in their live music performance! But, the tickets are so expensive, being priced at $100! Sighs. With that, i don't think i can make it there. I really wanted to experience them performing live as i believe that the effect will be very immense! Haish, what can i do to get hold of tickets without having to pay so much?

Credits: Super Junior Picture taken from: http://superduperlove.wordpress.com/

Next up, the second idol group is Super Junior. Being the largest group in korea with thirtheen memebers, many of you should have heard of this group as their popularity is more exposed to a wider area. I love to watch them dance in a whole, as the image effect of the thirteen boys dancing together in the same rhythm is awesome. Try watching their third album's first hit Sorry Sorry's MV and you will know what i am talking about! Their variety shows, such as Super Junior's Mini-Drama, Super Junior Full House and Super Adonis Camp, are also hilarious. I guess they are born to be comedians.

Lastly, the third idol group is SS501. I started being hooked on to them after watching the korean drama Boys Over Flower. My favourite character, Yoon Ji Hoo, is acted by SS501's leader, Kim Hyung Joong. He is a such a gorgeous and charming flower boy! He has the look of a dreamy and unrealistic guy walking out from a comic or manga.
After BOF, i catched a variety show We Got Married. It casted him and another female korean artiste, Hwang Bo. In the show, they acted as a newly wed couple and went through activities that a couple will do. His often dreamy and off-focus charisma is so irresistable! This also makes the show very hilarious and amusing.
Well, that pretty sums up what i have been doing on the net these days! =))
PS, Happy 26th Birthday Gor Gor!!!

Then, we travelled back to Tampines and shopped around Tampines 1, Tampines Mall and Century Square.

Lunch at Say Cheeze~

I went out with my family to lunch at Tampines 1's Say Cheeze Restaurant. The food was considered average. The restaurant was packed with people and from the not-so-good service that we received, we concluded that they are seriously in a lack of experienced staff at that particular peak period. We ordered the Set Lunch Meal, which consists of a drink, soup-of-the-day and main meal. Photos of the food are uploaded.

Coffee.
Ice Lemon Tea.
Soup-of-the-day: Tomato Soup.
The followings are the four choices of main meals. I forgot the exact names!
Deep Fried Fillet.
Pasta with Asparagus.
Cabonara Pasta with Mushrooms. (Vegetarian)
Baked Teriyaki Chicken.
Our shared à la carte: Hawaiian Pizza.
These are the photos taken before going out.

Outing to Clarke Quay~

Met up with Besties Miaomiao, Ah Ping and Michx for an outing! Our outing location is agreed on Clarke Quay. Before going down to Clarke Quay, we lunched at our usual dining place, which is Tampines Mall's Pastamania.

Me and Miaomiao~
Ah Ping and Michx~
My pizza took so long to be served, so i took photos while waiting.
Finally, my Margherita Pizza was served.
This is our shared dessert, Banna Dessert Pizza.
After lunch, we head down to Clarke Quay! Here are photos taken along the riverside.

G-Max.

A lot of bum-boats can be seen over there.
Random photo: we caught sight of a bird catching and eating fish from the river.
Hippo River Cruise!

We sat down and enjoyed the afternoon breeze along the riverside.
Each of us are mesmerised by Michx's shades, so we tried on to it. Hahas.

After that, we went to walk around Liang Court and spent most of the time in Kinokuniya Book Shop, browsing the various books, magazines and stationeries. Then, we went back to The Central and shopped around there before going home at the end of the day. It was indeed a relaxing and fun day spent with Besties~
